TechUK has published the Driving Digital Transformation report which outlines the urgent need for the UK’s health and social care systems to embrace digital technology and data solutions in order to safely modernise its services.

- Organise the data landscape
- Standardise the data landscape to enable better sharing and use of data.
- Prepare for Artificial Intelligence
- It’s crucial to lay the groundwork for the safe and effective use of AI in health and social care.
- Developing the NHS App
- The next steps to expand and improve the NHS App for user-centred care need to be defined.
- Accelerate Social Care Digitisation
- Push for the wider use of digital tools designed specifically for social care.
- Fostering Integration
- Improve integration between health, social care, and other public services to provide more seamless care.
- Digital Skills and Leadership
- Tackle skill shortages and build stronger leadership to drive digital transformation.
