Update: This offer has now been extended and the deadline to apply is Friday 29th January.

In collaboration with the Better Security, Better Care Programme, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is providing a bespoke Cyber Essentials offer to businesses who are part of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) framework.

The opportunity is open to providers at “Standards Met” and consists of two free packages which can be taken individually or jointly. It is being provided by the NCSC to help your organisation to enhance its cyber security as part of the response to COVID-19.

Offer A – Cyber Essentials: The assured supplier will help improve your cyber resilience by helping your organisation to put the five Cyber Essentials technical controls in place, with a Cyber Essentials Plus certificate available where appropriate.

Offer B – Cyber Risk Management: The assured supplier will help improve your cyber resilience by looking at your organisation, including cyber risks, and help you produce a business continuity plan.

Both options available involve minimal business disruption and will be delivered by a supplier assured by NCSC’s Cyber Essentials Partner, the IASME Consortium, who are working with them to deliver this opportunity.

This offer is unique and limited until mid-January for applications. If successful, your organisation will achieve the next level of the DSPT and move to “Standards Exceeded”.

To be eligible for this free offer your organisation must be a Small- or Medium-sized Enterprise:

  • have less than 250 staff
  • be a UK domiciled business
  • not already have Cyber Essentials Plus certification
  • not already have ISO27001 certification
  • in the last year, have not reviewed (those of you at “standards met” that have reviewed a and b can still apply):

          a. a risk assessment

          b. a business continuity plan

To register your interest for free support, please email [email protected] by 19th January 2021 and state which offer(s) you would be interested in. Your application will then be shared with our delivery partner, IASME, who will take you through the registration process.  You will be asked a few questions to understand your company’s cyber security requirements to match you with the appropriate support.

NCSC and IASME are hosting a webinar on Monday 18th January, 10:30-11am, to provide more details and answer questions about the offer. You can join the webinar here.

We very much hope that you will take advantage of this offer, which will bring many benefits to your cyber security portfolio.  This is a one-off opportunity that we are proud to support.
