This session aims to bring together a range of Caldicott Guardians to learn, share and explore the growing role of a Caldicott Guardian in respect to adult social care. Caldicott Guardians from both local authorities and care provider organisations are invited to join this session.
Join us for the 3rd session of this Caldicott Guardian Learning Network on the 6 February at 12:00 – 13:00.
These webinars will provide an overview for care and support providers about the Caldicott principles, the statutory framework underpinning these principles, the role of the Caldicott Guardian with considerations about what it involves and how to explore appointing one and the different approaches that organisations take to fulfilling the Caldicott principles around data confidentiality and sharing.
Principles of CG Networks & Collaboration –

- Be open. Communicate openly about concerns, issues, or opportunities relating to Caldicott Guardians and information governance in social care.

- Adopt a positive outlook. Behave in a positive, proactive, and timely manner.
- Keep the group up to date on data governance developments to Caldicott Guardians in the sector, feeding back key information and potential of new approaches/ practice
