This well-deserved recognition highlights her outstanding contributions to improving digital security across the social care sector.
Under Michelle’s leadership, the Better Security, Better Care programme has made significant strides in strengthening cyber resilience. Since its launch, she has driven DSPT compliance from just 13% to over 70%, ensuring thousands of providers are better protected. Her work has also been instrumental in increasing cyber awareness across the country and advancing digital maturity in the sector.
With a research-driven approach, Michelle has tackled digital reluctance at its core, identifying the key challenges and developing free, sector-specific learning on data protection and cyber security. Her commitment to making the sector safer, more informed, and more confident in the digital landscape is nothing short of inspiring!
