We celebrated the great work of our local support organisations and ADASS regional colleagues at our Better Security, Better Care Away Day. Congratulations to all our winners and runners up!
On 1st October 2024 in the historic Insurance Hall in London, the Digital Care Hub team hosted the Local Support Organisation’s (LSOs) at their away day conference. At this annual event we discussed what has happened in cyber over the last year in adult social care, what the Better Security, Better Care (BSBC) programme has achieved and what is coming up on the horizon.
Attendees included the Department of Health and Social Care, NHS colleagues and care provider trade associations.
For the first year ever we held an official awards ceremony to recognise the achievements of the programme which, this year, had ran past its 70% Data Security Protection Toolkit (DSPT) compliance target.
Awards were presented by the Programme Director, Michelle Corrigan
Nominations were driven by DSPT publication results, as well as nominations from the national team, regional co-ordinators and peer to peer within the Local Support Organisations. The awards primarily looked at June 2023 to June 2024.
The winners received a trophy, certificate and Love to Shop voucher. Runners up also received a certificate.
A huge well done to all those who won, aswell as the nominations. It is clear to see the testament and assets all organisations are to the sector.
